At Sawyer on Lincoln in Columbia, SC, we completed a detailed hardscape and plant installation to enhance the courtyards and perimeter of this vibrant student housing community. The design thoughtfully balances beauty and functionality, creating inviting outdoor spaces where students can gather, unwind, and connect with nature. One of the biggest challenges of this project was overcoming logistical obstacles—hauling large trees and plants through the building’s hallways to reach the interior courtyards. Despite these challenges, our team successfully transformed the space into a lush, welcoming environment that complements the modern student living experience.
