At Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, SC, we completed a comprehensive landscape and hardscape installation, creating a serene and functional environment that enhances the medical setting. A key feature of this project was the meticulously designed meditation garden, where we installed over an acre of pavers in a unique, randomized pattern. The design incorporated a 3x5 ratio of vanilla and chocolate pavers, intentionally arranged to avoid repetition. Achieving true randomness at this scale was a challenge—in fact, partway through the installation, we noticed an emerging pattern and made the decision to restart to maintain the intended design. The result is a thoughtfully crafted space that provides both beauty and tranquility for visitors and patients alike.
